Street Car 427 Complete Exhaust System
This is a complete mild steel exhaust system kit for the 427 street cars with a CSX or original style frame with an FE motor. It starts with 3/8" thick laser cut header flanges all hand TIG welded with backing gas for clean penetrating welds to 16 Ga, 2" diameter, mandrel drawn primary header tubes. The drivers side is flanged for easier assembly on the car. Two bolt flanges with carbon fiber gaskets take the exhaust to the primary pipe, through the elliptical mufflers for good ground clearance and attenuation. The axle loops just fit through the tubular frame extensions then loop over the rear half shafts. They tuck nicely inside street trunk covers (available separately) and finish with tailpipes bent to fit the tapered front street car tanks (also available). They exit through stainless slip on tips with a classy rolled edge for the factory look. All hanging hardware and muffler clamps are included as shown. Any missing frame exhaust hanger brackets are available as with all our parts. This all needs to be assembled in place on the car, fitted and final welded but is all there from header flanges to tailpipes.
