Long Range Tank
Long range tanks as used on 289 Comp cars. Maybe you've added a brace of Webers to your 289 and the original 15 gallon just doesn't go the distance. This additional tank gets plumbed to your stock tank, contact us to add a tube, and increases your capacity to 36 gallons.This is built with the look and function of the long range tanks added to Le Mans cars. You see how it tucks nicely against the back of your original tank in a sturdy safe place. It still allows use of the spare wheel well. Baffled and beaded construction from marine grade aluminum to be rigid and resist corrosion. Lightweight steel brackets to support it bolt through the trunk floor into the frame.
