If you ever had to drop the coolant and pull the top shroud and radiator out of your original, continuation or recreation Cobra just to be able to get the hood (bonnet) off you will immediately recognise the value of these trick little pieces. They are perfect for a new build but can be retrofitted if you clear access to your hood hinge area. If you look closely you will see a countersunk head socket screw holding the recessed internal bushings in alignment of this tubular original style hinge. Now you can reach into the nose, undo the allen screw and release your hood from the body work. One is shown apart for clarity as it is so discreet. These are bronze bushed and made to fit any car with a tubular frame hood opening and hood. Hand made and TIG welded together from DOM steel tube. Sold as a pair.
