Gas Tank 427 Competition 42 Gallon
This tank is for SC or competition cars. The tanks are constructed from corrosion resistant marine grade aluminum. They have dual fuel pickups (size specified by customer) for main and reserve fuel supplies. The tank is baffled and has a fuel trap around the pickups. The tank body is bead rolled to stiffen the panels in the same layout as original cobras. The tanks are vented and the fuel filler neck is sized to customers fill cap. All seams are hand TIG welded and leak tested with air. These tanks can be built with radiused panel edges which are butt welded together. Available options (at an additional cost) are: drain plug, fuel level sender flange, return line fuel fitting.
