Gas Tank 24 Gallon Shelby CSX
This is a bolt in replacement for a 24 gallon CSX 4000/6000 tank. Note this is a tank not a cell to replace leaky bladders gaskets etc for good. It is made from marine grade corrosion resistant aluminum (stainless available) to handle ethanol fuels on the inside and the elements outside. Hand TIG welded and carefully leak tested. It has two sturdy baffles inside to prevent sloshing. It also has dual #6 AN fuel pickups, main and reserve, and a trap around them to hold fuel there under cornering and acceleration. Fuel pickups and other tank features can be custom made or located to your specification for additional cost. Tank has a flange plate for a fuel sender located in the top so you can have an accurate fuel sender that really works. We recommend and also sell the solid state inductive senders with no moving parts. We can fit one of these to your tank and calibrate it to your fuel gauge. Any required install hardware, straps, J hooks, foam strips etc are all available in this section.
