Front Lower Control Arms Adjustable
We are now pleased to offer fully adjustable front lower control arms. These were referred to as competition or Ken Miles control arms. Whether you have a road or race car the adjustability of these control arms allows you to set camber and caster which is very beneficial on original 427 and 289 cars, especially if they have been tweaked over the years. Hand TIG welded on our 427/289 fixture in the middle of their adjustment range. Made from 1020 seamless DOM tubing these arms have a precision steel ball joint casting on the end and chromoly bodied, injection molded Teflon/Kevlar heim joints.
High misalignment spacers are in the heim joints ready to bolt to your car.
Modern spherical bearing ball joints have a drilled and tapped hole in the cap for the serviceability of a grease fitting.
The real benefit of this type of adjustment system is that it can be utilized right on the wheel alignment machine or at the track in real time. No need to completely dismantle the car and machine to make an adjustment and have to reassemble and reset it all.
