Expansion Tank Small Block
So you've stroked your small block out to big block cubes or you just want it to look like a big block because it performs like one. Here is the big block expansion tank for the big block look and more importantly function, made especially for your small block. This puts the fill at the highest point for more effective filling, burping and bleeding of your coolant system. It has been kept at the lowest possible height for hood clearance and measures 8-1/2" tall top to bottom. It measures 6-3/4" tall from thermostat flange center to top of fill neck.
Built with a new heavy gauge brass tank crimped together with the internal baffle/level plate. Heavy gauge custom made steel bracket with reinforcing gussets like the originals. 3/8" thick steel thermostat flange. Brass tube elbow. Brass outlet tube can be assembled as a lefty or a righty depending on your radiator. Beaded copper overflow tube. Brass fill neck. We can also add a brass half coupling to the bottom for your thermal fan switch. This is soldered together and leak tested to 20 psi. We use hi temp silver solder for stronger joints. Finished in gloss black paint.
