Contemporary Tie Rod Uprated
Contemporary tie rods adjusted to length to fit the CCX track width. Instead of cutting and welding on a tubular extension these have been cut and lengthened with a threaded sleeve and a correct length of 18-8 stainless high tensile threaded rod. This eliminates the concern with welding steering components and possibly affecting heat treatment. These are secured with Loctite and a jam nut while being assembled on the car.
