The original Comp Cobra’s used the front ducts to direct air onto the front brake calipers for cooling. Fresh cooling air for the footboxes came from ducts inside the nose. With the advent of the street models, these ducts were converted to direct air into the foot box. The driver/passenger comfort had become a priority.
