4000 Style Complete Chassis 427 Frame
This is a complete frame or chassis to original specifications for a 4000 or continuation cobra. The ladder frame is constructed from 1020 DOM seamless .120" wall tubing. It has bolt on adjustable style panel hinges. It also features 1 1/4" rear cowl brace tube and side impact bars. The critical frame, suspension, and steering brackets are all fixture welded for accurate alignment. The tube bird cage or superstructure which supports the body is tacked in position to allow accurate fitting of the body. For an additional cost completed frames can be sandblasted and either powder coated or painted in chassis black. Note: The body and chassis needs to be hand fitted to one another before final welding of the bird cage.
