3000 Style Complete Chassis 427 Frame
This is a complete frame or chassis to original specifications for a 60's cobra. The ladder frame is constructed from 1020 DOM seamless .120" wall tubing. Note 60's cars used 0.090" wall tubing which resulted in some chassis flex. These frames also have all original style panel hinges and latch plates. The critical frame, suspension, and steering brackets are all fixture welded for accurate alignment. The tube bird cage or superstructure which supports the body is tacked in position to allow accurate fitting of and to the body. The body can be supplied in fiberglass or aluminum and fitting is available. For an additional cost completed frames can be sandblasted and either powder coated or painted in chassis black. Note: The chassis' body support tubing needs fitting to the body before final welding of the bird cage.
Bare metal finish, powder coat or painting available.
NOTE: This item is custom made to order and there is usually a lead time associated with it. Before ordering, please call or email us to confirm the lead time to be sure it will work around your project.
