FOR SALE: 289 HAWK Car
NOTE: We ship internationally and can help with a smooth transition, as the car has older paperwork for registration purposes.
For sale is a 289 Hawk Cobra that you can take anywhere and enjoy the feeling of a real 60s-era English sports car, but with some juice. It’s powered by a great running 302 CI/4.9-liter engine, backed up with a center force clutch and Tremec 5-speed transmission. It has a manual Rack and Pinion steering and independent front suspension, which handles smoothly on the road and any curve you may encounter. The rear end is the Jaguar XJ6 inboard brake, Independent Rear Suspension (IRS), with 4 adjustable coil-over shock absorbers. Equipped with all new calipers and brakes, front and rear, new brake lines, new Wilwood master cylinder, and Wilwood proportioning valve.
All new chrome and emblems front to back, along with new Knock Off Dayton Wire Wheels and new tires. The paint looks very good for being 25+ years old. It may someday need paint and blocking on the fiberglass flat sides. The leather interior is very respectable for a 30-year-old, 13,000-mile car.
Also included are the convertible top, side curtains (windows), and the cockpit tonneau cover, which are all in perfect condition, as well as the carrying bags.
All documentation is available for Car Chassis #94033, from the original order form and invoice to HAWK CARS and the shipping docs to get it to the USA from England in 1995. HAWK CARS, the manufacturer in England, is still making the bodies and frames today! Also, have the wiring schematics and every receipt from all owners (both previous owners and current owner).
This was the 33rd body and chassis produced by HAWK CARS in 1994. You’re sure to have fun driving this car and get ALL the looks. BTW, it's also fast and sounds great, too!
